2015 Video Contest
For the third straight year, KAPPI is having a teen video contest. You can see the 2014 entries on the Metropolitan Drug Commission's YouTube page, and you'll find the 2013 submissions on the KAPPI YouTube page. This year, we're doing it again, and you can win cold, hard cash for making the best video. Our theme for 2015 is Healthy vs. Unhealthy Relationships. The team with the first-place video will receive $100 per team member and $250 for the sponsoring teacher or advisor!
The videos will be judged by a panel of local media professionals, and their ratings will account for 50% of the score. The judges will critique the videos based on the following criteria:
- Clarity of communicating the theme
- Originality, artistic merit, creative expression
- Technical skill: direction, lighting, sound and camera work
- Effectiveness at motivating, encouraging behavior
The other half of the score comes from the results of voting on this website. You can watch the videos below, and at the bottom of the page is a poll where you can vote on your favorite video. Get those votes in!
The results are in! We've tallied the votes and looked at the judges' scores, and we've declared our winners! We want to thank everyone for participating. You all did a wonderful job!
