Feeling Fatigue from COVID-19?

Published: December 18, 2020

COVID-19 has been stressful to say the least! While we continue to be safe and keep ourselves healthy, let’s talk about some ways we can still stay connected with friends and family. It can be frustrating to not hang out with friends or go out to see a movie, but please know that you are not alone in feeling this way!

Let’s start with some ways you can manage the stress or anxiety that you may be feeling due to COVID-19. Firstly, keep yourself informed using reliable sources such as the Centers for Disease Controls and the Knox County Health Department websites. If you stay informed on local information you can know what the facts are about COVID-19 and keep yourself and others safe and healthy. You can manage your stress by doing something for yourself, something that makes you happy, or look into other fun and innovative ways you can interact with others.

So what are some ideas for safe activities that you can still enjoy with friends and family outside of your household?

-          Take a walk-through downtown Knoxville and look at the holiday lights (wear a mask and keep socially distanced)

-          Socially distanced coffee or hot chocolate date outside

-          Everyone try a new recipe together virtually
